HE THEN WAS LOANED TO THE 56TH FIGHTER GROUP TO SERVE WITH FRANCIS GABRESKI WHERE HE ACHIEVED HIS LAST 10 VICTORIES. THERE IS ONE BOOKPLATE THAT HE INSCRIBED TO ME STATING HIS SERVICE IN 303 SQD.
